The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has officially announced the Round 2 Seat Allotment Result for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) Admissions 2026. Candidates can now check their allotment status by logging into the official NIFT Admissions Portal using their registered credentials.Candidates who have received a seat allotment must download their Provisional Seat Allotment Letter and complete all mandatory admission formalities within the prescribed deadline.Click here

Mandatory Steps After Seat Allotment

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 must complete the following steps:

• View the Round 2 Seat Allotment Result
• Download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter
• Submit their Willingness
• Pay the Admission Fee through the official portal only

The last date to submit willingness and pay the admission fee is 9 July 2026 (up to 12:00 midnight).

Failure to Pay Fee Will Cancel the Allotted Seat

NIFT has clarified that candidates who fail to pay the required admission fee within the stipulated period will lose their allotted seat and will not be allowed to participate in the subsequent regular counselling rounds.

Candidates who have not received a seat in Round 2 will automatically be considered for the next counselling round, provided they remain registered and eligible.

Round 3 Schedule Announced

NIFT has also released the schedule for Round 3 counselling.

• Document Verification: 11 July 2026
• Choice Filling/Modification: 11–13 July 2026
• Round 3 Seat Allotment: 15 July 2026
• Fee Payment: 15–17 July 2026

Candidates interested in NRI Sponsored Seats can exercise the option on 11 July 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Spot Round Details

The Spot Round will begin with registration from 19 July to 22 July 2026, followed by seat allotment on 24 July 2026. Candidates allotted seats in the Spot Round must report physically to their allotted NIFT campus on 29 July 2026.
