The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is conducting the Spot Round 2026 counselling process for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes offered across its campuses.

Candidates who have been shortlisted or newly verified for the Spot Round can now participate in the online counselling process by submitting and locking their preferred NIFT campuses and programmes through the official admission portal.

Choice Filling Window Closes Today

The online choice filling and choice locking facility will remain available only until midnight on 23 July 2026.

Candidates must:

• Log in to the official NIFT admission portal.
• Fill their preferred campus and programme choices.
• Review all selected options carefully.
• Lock the final choices before the deadline.

Only candidates who complete the choice locking process within the stipulated time will be considered for Spot Round seat allotment.

Seat Allotment Result on July 24

According to the official counselling schedule:

The allotment will be prepared based on the candidate's merit, category, preferences submitted, and seat availability across participating NIFT campuses.

Candidates Advised to Lock Preferences Carefully

Candidates are advised to carefully arrange their campus preferences before locking them, as no modifications will be permitted after the choice filling window closes.
