The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee has released an important notification regarding the 2nd/Special OJEE 2026. According to the official notice, the special entrance examination will be conducted tentatively between 13 July and 15 July 2026 for admissions to various professional courses in Odisha.

The 2nd/Special OJEE 2026 will be held for admission to B.Tech, LE-Tech (Diploma), LE-Tech (B.Sc.), B.Pharm, Basic B.Sc Nursing, MBA, MCA, and M.Sc Computer Science programmes. The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

As per the schedule, the online application process will begin on 16 June 2026 through the official OJEE website. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms online until 28 June 2026 (11:00 PM).

Candidates are advised to carefully read the OJEE 2026 Information Brochure and application guidelines available on the official website before applying. The brochure contains detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, and admission procedures.

The authority has clarified that the B.Tech syllabus will remain the same as JEE Main 2026, while the syllabus for all other programmes will be identical to the OJEE 2026 examination conducted in May 2026.

Importantly, candidates who have already secured a valid rank in JEE Main 2026 for B.Tech admissions or OJEE 2026 for other courses are not required to appear for the 2nd/Special OJEE. The ranks obtained through the special examination will be used exclusively for admission to vacant seats remaining after the first phase of OJEE counselling.

The OJEE Committee has also informed candidates from outside Odisha that they are not eligible for admission to Government Colleges through OJEE. However, they can seek admission to participating private colleges based on their ranks.
