Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Assam has issued a corrigendum regarding the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGET) 2026. According to the official notification dated 6 July 2026, the entrance examination, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 26 July 2026, has now been rescheduled to 9 August 2026.

The examination will be conducted for admission to various postgraduate allied health science programmes offered by government and private institutes across Assam for the 2026–27 academic session.

Revised Examination Schedule

As per the revised notification, the entrance examination will be held as follows:

• Examination Date: 9 August 2026 (Sunday)
• Time: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Examination Centre: Guwahati, Assam

Candidates are advised to note the revised schedule and make their preparations accordingly.

Application Deadline Extended

The university has also announced that the last date for submission of the online application form is 20 July 2026.Eligible candidates seeking admission to postgraduate allied health science courses should complete the application process before the closing date.

Courses Covered Under PGET 2026

The entrance examination will be conducted for admission to the following postgraduate programmes:

• M.Sc. NMT
• Master of Physiotherapy (MPT)
• MMLS
• M.Optom
• Master of Hospital Management (MHM)
• MMRIT

Admissions will be offered in both government and private institutes of Assam.

Admit Card Schedule

SSUHS has informed candidates that the admit cards will be issued from 4 August to 7 August 2026 during office hours.

Candidates should download or collect their admit cards within the specified period and carefully verify all examination details before appearing for the test.
