The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Assam has issued an important notification regarding the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination 2026. According to the official notice dated 13 July 2026, candidates who submitted the online application form but failed to pay the required examination fee have been given another opportunity to complete the payment.

The university has extended the fee payment deadline until 18 July 2026. Only candidates who successfully complete both the online application and fee payment process will be eligible to download their admit cards and appear for the entrance examination.

Entrance Examination Rescheduled

SSUHS has also announced a change in the examination schedule. The Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination 2026, which was earlier scheduled to be conducted on 26 July 2026, will now be held on:

• Exam Date: 2 August 2026 (Sunday)
• Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Examination Centre: Guwahati, Assam

Candidates are advised to make a note of the revised examination date and plan their preparations accordingly.

Admit Card Release

The university has confirmed that the admit cards will be released online from 28 July 2026.

Candidates must ensure that:

• The online application form has been successfully submitted.
• The prescribed entrance examination fee has been paid before 18 July 2026.

Only eligible candidates fulfilling both conditions will be able to download their hall tickets.

SSUHS has advised all applicants who have not yet paid the examination fee to complete the payment within the prescribed deadline. Failure to pay the requisite fee will result in the non-issuance of the admit card, making the candidate ineligible to appear for the entrance examination.
