The Tamil Nadu Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has announced that today, 23 July 2026, is the final day to submit online applications for Tamil Nadu MBBS and BDS Admissions 2026–27 based on NEET UG 2026 scores.
Eligible candidates seeking admission to Government Medical Colleges, Government Quota seats in Self-Financing Medical and Dental Colleges, ESIC Medical College, and other participating institutions must complete the online application process before 5:00 PM today. The Selection Committee has clearly stated that no extension will be provided beyond the notified deadline.
Candidates must complete the following steps before the application portal closes:
Admissions will be conducted for MBBS and BDS programmes under the Tamil Nadu State Quota on the basis of NEET UG 2026 merit, eligibility criteria, reservation policy, and the counselling process notified by DMER.
The Selection Committee has reiterated that the registration portal will close today, and candidates who fail to submit their applications before the deadline will not be considered for the state counselling process.
