The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, has officially released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 Rank List for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes across the state. Candidates who registered for TNEA 2026 can now download their rank list by logging into the official counselling portal using their registration credentials.

The TNEA rank list has been prepared based on the normalised Class 12 marks obtained by candidates in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. It will serve as the basis for seat allotment during the engineering counselling process.

Counselling Process to Begin Soon

Following the release of the rank list, the TNEA 2026 counselling process is scheduled to commence from 13 July 2026. During counselling, candidates will be required to submit their college and branch preferences through the online portal. Seats will be allotted according to merit rank, reservation policy, candidate preferences, and seat availability.

Grievance Redressal Window Available

Candidates who notice any discrepancy in their published rank can submit their grievances through the official TNEA portal during the notified grievance redressal period. After addressing valid objections, the counselling process will continue as per the official schedule.
