The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that a UGC NET June 2026 Re-Exam will be conducted for candidates affected by technical issues at the CT Group of Institutions Examination Centre, Jalandhar, during the 22 June 2026 Shift 1 examination.

According to the official notice, TCS, the agency responsible for conducting the examination, informed NTA that technical problems occurred at the centre. As a result, several candidates who were present at the examination venue could not start or complete their test due to reasons beyond their control.

To ensure fairness, the NTA has scheduled a re-examination on Sunday, 5 July 2026, at 3:00 PM. The re-test will be held at the same examination centre in Jalandhar.

The agency also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to affected candidates. Revised admit cards containing complete examination details will be issued separately before the re-exam.
