Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has revised the reporting date for candidates allotted seats under BAMS Counselling 2026. The university issued an official notice dated October 1, 2026, following representations received from candidates regarding a clash between the B.V.Sc. Veterinary Counselling scheduled for October 3 and the reporting date for BAMS counselling.
As per the revised schedule, candidates who have been allotted seats through BAMS Counselling can now report to their respective allotted institutes on October 5, 2026, instead of the earlier reporting date of October 3, 2026.
The university stated that the change has been made after receiving representations from candidates who were required to participate in the B.V.Sc. Veterinary Counselling on October 3, 2026. The revised date is intended to address the scheduling conflict between the two counselling processes.
All candidates who have received a BAMS seat allotment through the AMRU HP counselling process are advised to take note of the revised reporting date and complete their admission formalities at the allotted institute on October 5, 2026.
The university has also instructed all concerned institutes to take note of the revised reporting date and act accordingly.
The notice was issued by the Controller of Examinations-cum-Member Secretary, Common Centralized and Prospectus Review Committee (BAMS/BHMS Courses), AMRU, Himachal Pradesh.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official AMRU HP website for any further updates related to BAMS/BHMS counselling and admission.
