Atal Medical & Research University (AMRUHP), Himachal Pradesh, has extended the online application deadline for the first round of State Common/Centralised Counselling for admission to postgraduate medical courses for the 2026–27 academic session. As per the notice dated October 30, 2026, eligible candidates can now submit their application forms until November 2, 2026, up to 11:00 AM.

The extension follows an amendment to the Himachal Pradesh Government's PG/SS Policy through a notification dated October 28, 2026. Candidates seeking admission to MD, MS and DNB courses through the state counselling process should complete their applications within the revised deadline.

Instructions for In-Service NEET PG Candidates

AMRUHP has issued a separate instruction for NEET PG 2026-qualified in-service General Duty Officer (GDO) Medical Officers, including Job Trainees, who intend to participate in the counselling process.

Such candidates must obtain the required Incentive Certificate or No Objection Certificate (NOC), as applicable, from the competent authority immediately.

Instructions for Job Trainee Candidates

Job Trainee candidates who have already applied under the Direct Quota but now wish to participate under the In-Service Quota must first request the deletion or cancellation of their existing application.

Candidates should send their cancellation request by email to counselling.amruhp@gmail.com. After the existing application is cancelled, they can submit a fresh application under the In-Service Quota.
