Candidates listed in the updated final merit position for Management Quota admissions published on October 2, 2026, and the addenda dated October 5 and October 16, 2026, can exercise web options, subject to the university's eligibility rules.
The university has advised candidates to carefully review the eligibility criteria specified in its notification dated September 13, 2026, before submitting their preferences.
Candidates who joined a BDS seat under Management Quota during an earlier counselling phase may also participate if they wish to slide to another college or category. Eligible candidates may also opt to move from Category C (NRI) to Category B, subject to the applicable rules.
Candidates who did not report to their Phase 1 allotted college may participate in Phase 2. However, they cannot select the specific seat they did not report to in Phase 1 in this or subsequent counselling phases.
NTRUHS has released the college-wise seat matrix for Phase 2 counselling in private unaided dental colleges.
For private unaided non-minority dental colleges, the published matrix lists 25 Category B1 seats, 154 Category B2 seats and 189 Category C (NRI) seats, with a total intake of 1,300 seats across the listed institutions.
The notification also includes seats at Nimra Institute of Dental Sciences, Jupudi, a private minority dental college, with 24 Category B seats and 14 Category C (NRI) seats listed.
Candidates should refer to the official Annexure I for the complete college-wise distribution of seats, including the availability at individual institutions.
Selected candidates must download their allotment orders after paying the applicable university fee through the online payment gateway.
| Quota Category | University Fee |
|---|---|
| Category B | INR 18,100 |
| Category C (NRI) | INR 40,100 |
Payment can be made through a debit card, credit card or internet banking. The university has stated that the fee paid is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against a future date.
The interim tuition fee specified in the notification for private unaided non-minority and minority dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh is as follows:
| Quota Category | Annual Tuition Fee |
|---|---|
| Management Quota Category B | INR 4,84,000 per annum |
| Management Quota Category C (NRI) | Up to INR 14,52,000 per annum |
The tuition fees are subject to the applicable Government of Andhra Pradesh orders and the outcome of the writ petitions mentioned in the notification. The fee for Category C (NRI) varies by college.
The university's Annexure II provides college-specific annual tuition fees for NRI quota seats. Examples include INR 6,00,000 at Anil Neerukonda Institute of Dental Sciences, INR 7,00,000 at Care Dental College and INR 14,52,000 at CKS Theja Institute of Dental Sciences and Research. Candidates should check the annexure for the fee applicable to their preferred college.
The total tuition fee is to be collected over four years under the applicable regulations, with the annual fee collected at the beginning of each academic year.

Review the available seat matrix and confirm eligibility for the relevant quota categories.
Select preferred dental colleges in the order of priority.
Verify the selected options and submit them before the deadline.
Save or print a copy of the submitted web options for future reference.
An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and email address during the web-option process. Candidates should keep their login details and OTPs confidential.
The university has clarified that submitted options are final after the web-option window closes. Requests to change college preferences or their order will not be accepted after the deadline.
Candidates should follow these instructions during the counselling process:
Allotment depends on merit and preferences: Seats will be allotted according to merit, eligibility and the priority order of the options submitted.
Previous allotments may be cancelled: If a candidate who joined in Phase 1 receives a new seat in Phase 2, the earlier seat will be cancelled automatically.
Original certificates are mandatory: Original documents will be verified at the allotted college. Any discrepancy or ineligibility may lead to cancellation of the provisional allotment.
NRI documents are required: Candidates allotted NRI quota seats must submit the prescribed NRI eligibility and supporting documents at the time of admission.
Reporting deadlines must be followed: Selected candidates must download the allotment order, pay the applicable tuition and college fees, and report to the allotted college within the specified deadline.
Minority college eligibility applies: Only eligible Muslim minority candidates can exercise options for Management Quota seats in private unaided minority dental colleges. If eligible minority candidates are unavailable, the seats may be allotted to non-minority candidates during the Stray Round, as specified in the notification.
Candidates who receive a new allotment after sliding from an earlier college must complete the admission formalities at the newly allotted institution and follow the instructions for transferring their original certificates.
The university has specified eligibility conditions for Category C (NRI) seats. Eligible applicants may include actual NRI candidates, foreign students, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), subject to the applicable rules.
Children or blood relatives of NRIs may also be eligible under the relationships and conditions listed in the notification. Applicants must submit the required declaration and supporting documents establishing their NRI eligibility or relationship with the NRI sponsor.
The university will verify original documents at the allotted college. If the documents are false, inconsistent or do not establish eligibility, the seat may be cancelled and further action may be taken under university regulations.
As per the Government of Andhra Pradesh orders cited in the notification, NRI quota seats that remain vacant after choices from eligible NRI applicants have been exhausted will be treated as NRI lapsed seats.
These seats will be filled during Phase 3 (Mop-Up) or subsequent counselling phases, as applicable, only with candidates who have applied under the NRI Lapsed category. Candidates interested in such seats should monitor future university notifications for eligibility conditions and counselling schedules.
