The Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DHTE), Arunachal Pradesh, has issued a circular inviting applications from interested APST candidates who had registered for PCB group counselling, paid the seat acceptance fee and have not been nominated so far. The circular was issued on October 1, 2026, and lists vacant seats available for nomination based on NEET 2026 merit.
According to the circular, a total of 8 seats are currently vacant across MBBS, BDS and BAMS courses. The vacancies include seats in medical and dental colleges in Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh, as well as a BAMS seat allocation in Arunachal Pradesh.

The Directorate has instructed eligible candidates to submit their applications through the Google Form available on the official DHTE website. Candidates must submit their applications by October 11, 2026, up to midnight.
The vacant seats will be allotted on the basis of the merit of NEET 2026. The Directorate has stated that the allotment result will be notified on October 12, 2026.
Candidates who are eligible and interested in the listed vacant seats should ensure that their applications are submitted within the prescribed deadline. They should also carefully check the instructions available on the official website before submitting the Google Form.
The Directorate has further clarified that any seat surrendered by candidates after the AIQ Round 3 counselling will be added to the vacant seat position in due course. Therefore, the vacancy position may change depending on subsequent seat surrender and counselling developments.
