Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has issued a Public Notice regarding the extension of the last date for joining the B.Sc. Nursing Course for the academic session 2026-27.
As per the notice dated September 30, 2026, the prescribed last date for joining the B.Sc. Nursing course under the counselling process was earlier September 30, 2026.
However, the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, has extended the cut-off date for admission/joining for the academic session 2026-27 from September 30, 2026, to October 31, 2026.
In view of the extension granted by the Indian Nursing Council, BFUHS has accordingly extended the last date for joining the B.Sc. Nursing Course under its counselling process up to October 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

All candidates who have been allotted seats through the BFUHS B.Sc. Nursing counselling process are advised to report to their concerned College/Institution on or before October 6, 2026, by 2:00 PM.
Candidates must complete all the requisite admission formalities within the stipulated time. Candidates should contact their allotted institution regarding the process and documents required for completing admission/joining formalities.
BFUHS has also directed the concerned Colleges/Institutions to comply with the revised schedule and complete the admission and joining formalities of all allotted candidates accordingly.
The extension of the joining date has been granted in view of the revised cut-off date issued by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi.
The University has clarified that all other terms and conditions of the counselling/admission process shall remain unchanged.
Therefore, candidates should follow the existing counselling and admission rules while completing their joining formalities within the newly prescribed deadline..
