Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, issued a notice dated October 28, 2026, regarding the fee structure for MD/MS admissions at Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Bathinda, for the 2026–27 academic session.

Punjab and Haryana High Court Interim Order

Adesh University and another petitioner have filed Civil Writ Petition (CWP) No. 34796 of 2026, titled Adesh University and Another vs. State of Punjab and Others, before the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Through an interim order dated October 16, 2026, the court directed the petitioners to inform students participating in counselling and students admitted to the institution that the deposit of fees would remain subject to the outcome of CWP No. 7941 of 2020.

Therefore, students participating in counselling or admitted to the institution should take note of the court's interim direction regarding fee deposits.
