The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Manipur, has issued a notification for the fourth round of counselling for nursing admissions for the academic session 2026–27.

The counselling will cover B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing and Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) courses. Candidates can attend the counselling at the designated venue in Lamphel. Video conferencing facilities will also be available at selected National Informatics Centre (NIC) district units.

Course-Wise Eligibility for Round 4 Counselling

The notification specifies the following eligibility criteria for candidates attending the fourth round:

Candidates who were eligible but failed to attend any previous round of counselling will not be allowed to participate in Round 4.

The listed vacancies include seats under the Unreserved (UR) and Other Backward Classes–Manipur (OBC-M) categories, as specified in the notification.

Video Conferencing Facilities for Candidates

Candidates can also attend counselling through video conferencing from the following NIC district units:

• Churachandpur, for candidates from Churachandpur and Pherzawl

• Jiribam

• Kangpokpi

• Senapati

• Tengnoupal

• Ukhrul

Candidates planning to use these facilities should confirm the relevant arrangements with the counselling authorities before attending.

Documents Required for Counselling

Candidates or their authorised representatives must bring all relevant documents in original on the counselling date. According to the notification, candidates who fail to produce the required original documents will not be allowed to attend counselling.

Candidates should also verify their eligibility and merit-list status before reporting to the venue.
