The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has released the Stray Round Provisional Allotment List for UG NEET-based courses 2026–27. The notice was issued on October 24, 2026, by the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Puducherry.

The allotment list covers MBBS, BDS and BAMS courses under Government and Management Quota. CENTAC published the provisional list after reviewing and disposing of objections and grievances submitted by candidates against the draft allotment list.

Candidates can check their allotment status through the login dashboard on the official CENTAC website and download their allotment orders.

Candidates must complete the admission process within the notified deadline. Failure to report within the prescribed period may affect admission to the allotted seat.

How to Check the CENTAC Stray Round Allotment

Candidates can follow these steps to check their allotment status and download the allotment order:

1. Visit the official website: https://www.centacpuducherry.in.

2. Log in using the credentials for the candidate dashboard.

3. Check the Stray Round allotment status.

4. Download the allotment order, if a seat has been allotted.

5. Report to the Principal of the allotted college with the allotment order and all required original certificates.

6. Complete the college admission formalities by October 26, 2026, at 5 PM.

Admission will be confirmed only after the candidate produces the required original documents and completes the prescribed formalities.

Tuition Fee Payment and Refund Rules

CENTAC has clarified that only candidates who paid the full tuition fee were considered for Stray Round allotment. Candidates allotted seats in this round can directly report to their respective colleges after downloading their allotment orders.

Important Instructions for Allotted Candidates

Candidates allotted seats in the Stray Round must report to the Principal of the allotted college with the allotment order and all original certificates. Admission is subject to document verification and completion of the required formalities.

CENTAC has also clarified that candidates admitted through Round 1, Round 2 or Round 3 cannot withdraw or resign from their admitted seats.

The provisional allotment is also subject to the outcome of W.A. No. 2674 of 2026, pending before the Hon'ble High Court at Madras. Candidates should consider this condition while reviewing their allotment status.

SMS notifications have also been sent to candidates regarding the allotment update.
