Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTR UHS), Vijayawada, has extended the deadline for candidates to exercise the FREE EXIT facility from reported MBBS seats/colleges allotted under the Management Quota for the academic year 2026-27. The university issued the notice on October 3, 2026, through File No. 5156/MBBS/BDS/EA1/2026(MQ).

The latest notification has been issued in continuation of the university's earlier notifications dated September 29, 2026, and October 1, 2026. As per the notice, the last date for free exit from the reported seat or college under MBBS Phase-I Management Quota (B1/B2) has been extended up to 3:00 PM on October 3, 2026.

The university has also clarified that the free exit facility is available for candidates admitted under MBBS Phase-I Management Quota, Category-C (NRI). For Category-C (NRI) candidates also, the last date for free exit from the reported seat/college is 3:00 PM on October 3, 2026.

Therefore, candidates who have reported to an MBBS seat under the Management Quota and wish to leave their allotted seat under the applicable free exit provisions must complete the required process within the deadline specified by NTR UHS.

The university has specifically mentioned that the extended deadline applies separately to both B1/B2 Management Quota seats and Category-C (NRI) Management Quota seats under Phase-I of MBBS admissions.

Candidates should carefully check their admission status and follow the prescribed university procedure before exercising the free exit option. Since the deadline is 3:00 PM on October 3, 2026, candidates should complete the necessary formalities within the specified time.
