The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTR UHS), Vijayawada, has issued a notification for exercising web options for Phase-II counselling for admission to the MBBS course for the academic year 2026-27. The notification was issued on October 2, 2026, and continues the University's earlier notifications dated September 1, September 13 and September 30, 2026.
The Phase-II counselling covers Competent Authority Self-Financing seats and Competent Authority NRI Category seats in new Government Medical Colleges, Management Quota Category-B1, B2 and Category-C (NRI) seats in private unaided non-minority and minority medical colleges, and NRI Category seats in Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women under SVIMS, Tirupati.
Eligible candidates can exercise their web options from 6:00 PM on October 2, 2026, until 10:00 AM on October 5, 2026.
Only candidates whose names are included in the Provisional Final Merit Position displayed/updated on October 2, 2026, on the Dr. NTR UHS website will be eligible to exercise web options according to the available seat matrix.

The Phase-II web options are being conducted for the following categories:
Only Muslim Minority candidates are eligible to exercise web options for Management Quota seats in unaided private minority medical colleges. If Muslim Minority candidates are not available, such seats will be allotted to Non-Muslim Minority candidates in the Stray Vacancy Round.
Muslim Minority candidates are also eligible for Management Quota seats in non-minority medical colleges.
Candidates whose names appear in the updated Provisional Final Merit Position dated October 2, 2026 can participate in the Phase-II web options process.
Candidates who joined MBBS under Management Quota in an earlier Dr. NTR UHS counselling phase can also exercise options if they wish to slide to another college or another category. Candidates may also slide from Category-C to Category-B.
Candidates who did not report to the college allotted to them in Phase-I may participate in Phase-II. However, they cannot opt again for the particular seat from which they failed to report in Phase-I.
Candidates who availed the Free Exit facility after Phase-I counselling are not eligible to exercise web options in Phase-II or further counselling phases.
Selected candidates must download their allotment order after paying the applicable University fee through the online payment gateway using Debit Card, Credit Card or Internet Banking.

Candidates who were allotted a seat in Phase-I under Management Quota and already paid the University fee do not have to pay the University fee again if their seat changes based on fresh options.
However, such candidates must download the new allotment order and report to the newly allotted college with the Custodian Certificate issued by the earlier college under Dr. NTR UHS.
For Competent Authority seats in the new Government Medical Colleges permitted from the academic year 2023-24 onwards, the notified tuition fee structure is:

The University has stated that the tuition fee for the academic year 2026-27 will be as per the orders of the Government of Andhra Pradesh and subject to the outcome of W.P. Nos. 32975, 33162 and 35090 of 2022.
As per the interim fee structure mentioned in the notification under G.O.Ms.No.785, HM & FW (C1) Department, dated August 29, 2026, the tuition fee for private unaided non-minority and minority medical colleges is:

The notification states that the fee structure is subject to the outcome of the relevant court cases. As per the NMC circular referred to in the notification, selected candidates have to pay tuition fee for 4½ years at the respective colleges.

Candidates must carefully exercise their college and category preferences in the order of priority. The University has stated that options once exercised will be final and no request to change the options or order of college preferences will be entertained after the web options window closes.
An OTP will be sent to the candidate's registered mobile number and email ID while entering and submitting web options. Candidates should take a printout of their saved options for future reference.
Allotment will be made according to the priority of options exercised by the candidate, availability of seats and applicable rules.
Candidates will receive a message if a seat is allotted.
After allotment, candidates must download the allotment order and report to the Principal of the allotted college before the last date and time specified in the allotment order.
Candidates must carry their original certificates and relevant bonds, wherever applicable, and pay the prescribed tuition fee and college fee to complete the admission process.
Failure to report within the prescribed deadline will result in automatic cancellation of admission.
The University will conduct final verification of original certificates at the college. If any discrepancy is found between the original documents and the information submitted online, the provisional allotment may be cancelled and action may be taken according to University regulations.

The University fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date under any circumstances.
The University has also warned candidates against seat blocking or cancellation of MBBS seats. Legal action may be initiated against candidates found involved in seat blocking as per applicable rules.
Candidates are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials, registered email ID and OTPs. They should not share these details with any other person.
