Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, has released a notice regarding the refund of security deposits for candidates who participated in MBBS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27.

According to the university notice dated 05 November 2026, eligible candidates will receive a refund of INR 50,000 each, which was deposited during the MBBS counselling process. The university has confirmed that the refund process has already been initiated.

MBBS Security Deposit Refund Status

The university has provided the following details regarding the refund eligibility of candidates:

A total of 4,018 candidates are eligible for the security deposit refund, while 3 candidates are not eligible. The individual candidate details have been provided in Annexure-I and Annexure-II of the official notice.

When Will Candidates Receive the Refund?

Dr. NTRUHS has stated that the refund process has already been initiated. The security deposit amount will be credited to the respective candidates' bank accounts within one month.

The university will also publish an updated list of candidates whose security deposits have been refunded. This list will be uploaded to the official website after the university receives the Bank Reference Number from the service provider.
