Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr NTRUHS), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, has issued a corrigendum to the prospectus and notification for the Master of Physiotherapy Common Entrance Test (MPTCET) 2026-27.

The corrigendum, dated 6 November 2026, revises the age eligibility criteria mentioned in the original prospectus and notification issued on 28 October 2026.

According to the revised rule, there is no upper age limit for MPT admissions for all applying candidates. This replaces the earlier provision that restricted the maximum age of applicants to 45 years, with relaxation up to 48 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.

The revised modification applies to the following sections of the original MPTCET 2026-27 documents:

• Prospectus: Page No. 6, Point No. 9(c).

• Notification: Page No. 2, Point No. (d).

The university has directed candidates to read the revised provision in place of the existing age-limit condition. The corrigendum is issued in continuation of the prospectus and notification published on 28 October 2026.

What Should MPTCET 2026-27 Applicants Know?

Candidates planning to apply for MPT admissions under Dr NTRUHS should take note of the revised age eligibility rule.

Applicants will no longer be required to satisfy the earlier maximum age condition of 45 years or the 48-year limit applicable to SC/ST candidates. The revised notification removes the upper age limit for all applicants.
