The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Government of Gujarat, has released an advertisement for the 4th Online Stray Vacancy Round for undergraduate Ayurveda and Homoeopathy admissions. The counselling round is being conducted for admission to the first year of BAMS and BHMS courses in government, grant-in-aid and self-financed colleges across Gujarat for the academic year 2026-27.

The registration process is intended for eligible candidates who did not register in Round 1, Round 2 or Round 3. It also covers candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 2 but whose admission was not confirmed because they exited after forfeiture of the refundable security deposit and did not register in Round 3.

Admission will be based on NEET UG 2026 All India Rank and the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Gujarat Health and Family Welfare Department and the respective councils.

Gujarat AYUSH 4th Stray Vacancy Round 2026: Important Dates

Candidates should follow the registration and document verification schedule announced by ACPUGMEC.

Candidates should complete PIN purchase and online registration within the respective deadlines. They must also attend document verification at their selected Help Centre during the prescribed time.

Registration Fee and Refundable Security Deposit

Candidates must purchase a PIN through the admission committee's official website to complete online registration. The payment details are as follows:

The registration fee of INR 1,000 is non-refundable, while the INR 10,000 security deposit is refundable subject to the applicable admission rules and conditions.

Eligibility for the 4th Online Stray Vacancy Round

The notice specifies the following candidate groups for this registration round:

• Candidates who did not register in Round 1, Round 2 or Round 3.

• Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 2 but whose admission was not confirmed after exiting with forfeiture of the refundable security deposit, and who did not register in Round 3.

Candidates must also satisfy the applicable admission eligibility requirements, including qualifying NEET UG 2026 and meeting the prescribed academic and other admission conditions.

Educational Qualification Requirements

Candidates must have passed Class 12 from the Science stream with the B or AB group. The qualifying examination must be from the Gujarat Board or a school located in Gujarat affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, Cambridge University or National Institute of Open Schooling, as specified in the notification.

Candidates must also qualify as per their NEET UG 2026 All India Rank and meet the admission rules prescribed by the Gujarat Health and Family Welfare Department and the respective councils.

Document Verification Process

After completing online registration, candidates must take a prior appointment for document verification. They must submit self-attested photocopies of the required documents at the selected Help Centre.

Candidates can select their preferred verification date and Help Centre while printing the registration slip. They should visit the selected centre within the scheduled verification window, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on November 6, 2026.

Important Restriction for Round 3 Allotted Candidates

Candidates who have been allotted BAMS or BHMS seats in the third round are not eligible to complete fresh registration for the 4th Online Stray Vacancy Round. Such candidates should take note of this restriction before proceeding with the registration process.
