The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Government of Gujarat has released an advertisement for Third Round Online Registration and cancellation of Round 1 or Round 2 admissions for admission to first-year undergraduate medical and dental courses for the academic year 2026-27.
The process applies to eligible candidates seeking admission to Government and Self-Financed Medical and Dental Colleges in Gujarat.

Candidates should complete each stage within the prescribed deadline.
The third-round registration facility is available to candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility requirements and have qualified in NEET UG 2026.
The notice covers candidates who have passed Class 12 in the Science Stream with B/AB Group from the Gujarat Board or from eligible schools in Gujarat affiliated with CBSE, CISCE, Cambridge University or NIOS, as specified in the advertisement.
Eligible candidates must also satisfy the admission rules of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat, along with the applicable rules and regulations of the concerned Commission/Council.

Candidates applying for Round 3 must purchase the Online PIN from the official ACPUGMEC website.

The INR 1,000 registration fee is non-refundable, while the INR 10,000 security deposit is refundable, subject to the applicable counselling rules.
The Online PIN can be purchased between September 26 and September 30, 2026, up to 12:00 Noon.
Candidates who purchased the Online PIN by paying INR 11,000 during Round 1 or Round 2 but did not complete online registration/document verification and did not submit photocopies of their documents at the Help Center do not need to purchase the PIN again.
Such candidates only need to complete the required document verification and submission of photocopies at the Help Center.

Candidates seeking admission under the Local Quota seats of:
must obtain the required certificate confirming that they are a local student of Ahmedabad or Surat city, as applicable.
Candidates must contact the Dean of the respective institute to obtain the required local student certificate in addition to completing the online registration.
NRI candidates are required to complete the online application process and submit a Demand Draft of INR 10,000 in favour of “ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar.
The Demand Draft is to be submitted as a processing fee at the office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.
NRI candidates should carefully follow the specific instructions issued by ACPUGMEC for the admission process.
