The full form of JEE is Joint Entrance Examination. JEE Advanced is a national-level entrance examination that is conducted for admissions into IIT/IISc for B. E/B. Tech admissions. JEE Prior to JEE Advanced exam, a candidate has to first appear for JEE Main exam and obtain the JEE Main cut off marks. Candidates who are in the top 2.5 lakh of JEE Main Exam then become eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.
As the JEE Advanced exam is set on a rotational basis by the IITs and IISc, therefore, one can expect a slight variation in the number of questions asked in the exam. Hence, the marking scheme and the distribution of questions change each year
The JEE Advanced 2025 registration shall begin from 23rd April 2025. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam date is on 18th May 2025. Check the following table to know the important dates related to the exam.
