The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has issued Notification No. 252-BOPEE of 2026, dated 5 November 2026, announcing the online choice-filling and counselling schedule for MD/MS Ayurveda courses for the 2026 session.

The notification follows the publication of the Provisional Merit List (PML) through Notification No. 251-BOPEE of 2026, dated 4 November 2026. The Board had invited objections from candidates included in the provisional merit list up to 5 November 2026, 4:00 PM.

MD/MS Ayurveda Online Choice Filling Dates

Eligible candidates can submit their online course and college preferences according to the following schedule:

Candidates must complete the online choice-filling process within the specified timeline through the official JKBOPEE portal.

Online Counselling Fee of INR 2,000 Mandatory

Candidates participating in the counselling process must pay an online counselling fee of INR 2,000 through the JKBOPEE portal during choice filling.

The Board has clarified that candidates who fail to make the required online payment will not be considered for seat allotment under any circumstances.

Provisional Permission for Candidates with Deficient Documents

JKBOPEE has provisionally allowed candidates who could not clear document deficiencies, including Date of Birth (DOB) proof and AIAPGET scorecards, by 5 November 2026, 4:00 PM, to participate in the online counselling process.

However, if selected, such candidates must submit the required documents at the time of admission to their respective colleges. Failure to provide the documents will result in cancellation of admission from the beginning.

Instructions for In-Service Candidates

Interested and willing in-service candidates have been provisionally permitted to participate in counselling. They must submit the relevant in-service certificate issued by the Competent Authority.

The certificate can be submitted through either of the following methods:

• Personally at the JKBOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar.

• Through email at helpdeskjakbopee@gmail.com.

The deadline for submitting the in-service certificate is 8 November 2026, up to 4:00 PM. Candidates who fail to submit the certificate within this period will not be eligible for seat allotment under the in-service category.

Changes in Reserved and Subcategory Status

The Board has also clarified the treatment of candidates with deficient reserved category and subcategory certificates:

• Reserved Category candidates who failed to submit or clear their deficient certificates by 5 November 2026, 4:00 PM, will be treated as Open Merit candidates, provided they fulfil the other eligibility requirements.

• Candidates found ineligible under their respective categories have had their candidature rejected.

• Candidates who failed to submit or clear deficient subcategory certificates within the prescribed deadline will be converted to their respective vertical categories.

Important Instructions for Choice Filling

JKBOPEE has advised candidates to avoid using mobile phones or tablets while filling out their online preferences. Candidates are advised to complete the process carefully.

The seat matrix for the MD/MS Ayurveda courses will be published on the official JKBOPEE website before the online choice-filling process begins.
