According to the notification dated October 26, 2026, a total of 213 medical seats remained unallotted after the seat allotment results were published on the KEA website.
The authority opened an extended option-entry opportunity for eligible candidates who had not been allotted any medical seat and were interested in the remaining vacancies.

Interested candidates were required to submit their options through the KEA website within the notified deadline. The allotment was to be conducted based on the options entered by eligible candidates and the applicable counselling guidelines.
KEA stated that the extended allotment followed the medical and dental seat allotment process conducted on October 26, 2026. After the earlier allotment results were published, the authority identified 213 medical seats that remained vacant.
Eligible candidates could enter options for these seats until 5:00 PM on October 26. KEA would then publish the allotment results. Candidates allotted seats were required to complete admission reporting at their allotted colleges by 6:00 PM on the same day, in accordance with the instructions and applicable Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) guidelines.
Candidates participating in the extended round were required to follow the instructions issued in previous KEA notifications along with the latest notice. Those allotted seats had to report to the designated colleges within the prescribed deadline to complete admission formalities.
Candidates should check the KEA website for any subsequent updates or instructions regarding the allotment process.
