The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has started the activities related to the second phase allotment to Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and Medical Allied Courses for the academic year 2026-27. The allotment is being conducted for State Quota seats through the KEAM 2026 centralised allotment process.

The second phase covers BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, BUMS, B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, B.Sc. M.Sc. (Integrated) Biology, B.Sc. M.Sc. (Integrated) Micro Biology, B.Sc. (Hons.) CEE Kerala has also stated that the allotment/admission to the Veterinary course during this phase will be subject to the final order of the Veterinary Council of India regarding extension of the closing date for admission.

Online Option Confirmation Mandatory

Candidates who want their higher-order options in Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and Medical Allied courses to be considered in the second phase of allotment must log in to their KEAM 2026 candidate Home Page and click the “Confirm” button.

After online option confirmation, candidates can re-arrange their higher-order options or delete unwanted course/college options through the official website until October 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Online option confirmation is mandatory for candidates who received admission in the first phase as well as candidates who did not receive any allotment in the first phase, if they wish to be considered for the second phase allotment.

Fresh Options Available for NSS Homoeopathic Medical College

CEE Kerala has announced that fresh options can be registered only for the BHMS course at Athurasramam NSS Homoeopathic Medical College.

Candidates should carefully review their options before confirming them and should include only those courses and colleges where they are willing to join and continue their studies if allotted.

Important Rule for Candidates Who Vacate First-Phase Seats

The notification states that the higher options of candidates who received admission through the first-round allotment and subsequently vacate their seats after option confirmation will not be considered for further allotments.

However, candidates who do not confirm their options after the first phase of admission will retain the admission received, if any, in the first phase.

Candidates who receive an allotment in this phase must download/print their allotment memo, remit the fee or balance fee, wherever applicable, as shown in the allotment memo, and join the allotted course and college within the prescribed deadline.

Fee Payment Details

CEE Kerala has stated that details of fees for Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and Medical Allied courses in various colleges are available on the official website.

Since the academic year 2026-27 fee for self-financing Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani colleges has not yet been fixed, candidates allotted seats in these colleges must provisionally pay the fee fixed for the 2025-26 academic year.

If the fee subsequently fixed by the Admission Supervisory Committee, Government or Hon'ble High Court for the academic year 2026-27 is higher than the 2025-26 fee, candidates will have to pay the balance amount.

Candidates Exempted from Fee Payment

Candidates allotted under the SC/ST/OEC category and candidates eligible for benefits under G.O.(MS)25/2005/SCSTDD dated June 20, 2005 and G.O.(MS)10/2014/BCDD dated May 23, 2014 are not required to pay the fee at the time of admission.

Candidates from Sreechitra Home, Juvenile Home and Nirbhaya Home are also exempted from paying the fee at the time of admission.

However, if such candidates are allotted seats under the Management Quota, they must pay the fee specified in the allotment memo and will not be eligible for any fee concession.

Important Instructions for Candidates

CEE Kerala has advised candidates to enter options only for those courses and colleges where they are certain to join and continue their studies if allotted.

Candidates who fail to take admission within the stipulated period will lose the allotment and will not be considered for further centralised allotment for courses in the Medical/Medical Allied stream.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official CEE Kerala website for updates regarding the allotment process and relevant Government Orders.
