The Government of Kerala has approved 28 additional seats for admission to Medical Postgraduate Degree Courses at Travancore Medical College, Kollam, for the academic session 2026-27. The approval was issued through G.O.(Ms) No. 361/2026/H&FWD dated 2 November 2026 by the Health and Family Welfare Department.

The approval follows the earlier government order dated 30 October 2026, which covered the PG Medical seat matrix for the state. The newly approved seats will be available from the first phase of counselling.

Course-Wise Distribution of Newly Added Seats

The approved seat matrix includes 28 MD/MS seats across 13 postgraduate specialities at Travancore Medical College.

MS General Surgery has the highest number of newly approved seats, with five seats, followed by MD Paediatrics with four seats.
