The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Manipur, has released the notification for State-Level Medical PG Counselling 2026-27. The counselling process is being conducted for admission to MD, MS and Diploma courses at three participating institutes: Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal; Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Imphal; and Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol, Imphal.

Candidates who have qualified in NEET PG 2026 are eligible to participate in the state-level counselling process. The entire registration, choice filling, document verification and seat allotment process will be conducted online through the dedicated Manipur Medical e-Counselling portal.

Manipur NEET PG Counselling 2026: Important Dates

The Directorate has announced the following tentative schedule for the counselling process:

Participating Institutes for Manipur PG Medical Admission 2026

NEET PG-qualified candidates can participate in the state-level counselling for seats at the following institutions:

1. Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal

2. Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), Imphal

3. Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol, Imphal

The detailed institute-wise and category-wise seat matrix will be notified separately by the Directorate.

Manipur NEET PG Counselling 2026: Application Fees

Registration will be considered complete only after payment of the applicable non-refundable application fee and refundable security deposit.

In addition to the application fee, all candidates must pay a refundable security deposit of INR 20,000, irrespective of their category.

The security deposit will be refunded after completion of all applicable counselling rounds, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed conditions. It may be forfeited under the circumstances specified in the counselling instructions.

Documents for In-Service Sponsored Candidates

Candidates applying under the In-Service Sponsored category must obtain their sponsorship certificates in the prescribed format (Annexure A). They must also collect any other relevant documents from their respective Directorate of Health Services or the concerned competent authority.

Candidates should ensure that they have the required certificates before submitting their counselling applications.

How to Register for Manipur NEET PG Counselling 2026?

Eligible candidates must complete the registration process through the dedicated online counselling portal. The process includes:

1. Visit the Manipur Medical e-Counselling portal at https://manipurmc.mn.gov.in.

2. Complete online registration and submit the application form.

3. Pay the applicable application fee and security deposit.

4. Exercise and lock choices within the notified period.

5. Complete document verification as per the instructions.

6. Check the merit list and seat allotment result on the official portal.

7. Report to the allotted institute within the specified dates.
