The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the re-revised results for NEET (UG) 2024. This update followed a Supreme Court directive, which required the removal of compensatory marks previously given for a Physics question due to an error in an old NCERT textbook. The revised results now reflect accurate scoring based on this adjustment.

The examination, held on May 5, 2024, involved more than 24 lakh candidates, with re-exams conducted for 1,563 students on June 23 due to technical issues during the original test. After recalculating scores, 17 candidates achieved the top rank, reduced from an earlier 61 in the revised results.

Candidates can now access their re-revised scorecards on the NTA’s official website. The counselling process for NEET-UG will begin soon, with 15% of seats under the All India Quota to be managed by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), while state-level counseling will be conducted by individual state authorities?
