The counselling schedule for the NEET UG 2026 Special Stray Round for MBBS and Round 5 for BDS and B.Sc Nursing admissions has been released. The schedule covers State Counselling and counselling under the All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed Universities and Central Universities.

As per the schedule, State Counselling for the Special Stray Round for MBBS and Round 5 for BDS and B.Sc Nursing seats will be conducted from November 2 to November 7, 2026. The counselling process for AIQ, Deemed and Central Universities will begin on November 3 and continue until November 7, 2026.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will share the data of candidates allotted seats under the All India Quota with the respective states on November 7, 2026. This data-sharing process will help states identify and remove candidates who have already been allotted seats under AIQ from their counselling process, as applicable.

Last Date for Joining

Candidates allotted seats through the respective counselling processes must complete their admission and joining formalities by November 16, 2026. They should follow the instructions issued by the concerned counselling authorities and allotted institutes to complete the admission process within the prescribed deadline.

Saturdays, Sundays and Gazetted Holidays to Be Working Days

The counselling schedule includes a specific instruction for all participating institutes and colleges. Considering the limited time available for completing counselling, institutes and colleges have been directed to treat all Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days.

This instruction is intended to ensure that the counselling and admission schedule is followed within the prescribed timelines. Candidates should plan their reporting and admission formalities accordingly.
