Candidates claiming EWS reservation must declare their category during registration and submit a valid EWS certificate.
If sufficient candidates are unavailable in a reserved category, vacant seats may be merged with the Unreserved category according to government guidelines.
In-service candidates who have completed at least three years of service in notified tribal or backward areas of Odisha may receive an additional weightage of 5% marks in the qualifying examination, subject to the prescribed conditions.
In-service candidates must obtain and submit a No Objection Certificate from the competent authority.
No separate seat is reserved for in-service candidates.
Registered candidates will receive provisional seat allotments based on their AIAPGET 2026 merit rank. Reservation will be considered according to the category declared during registration.
After provisional allotment, candidates must pay the admission fee of INR 24,730 and report to their allotted college for document verification and provisional admission.
Candidates who complete fee payment and successfully verify their documents will be considered for provisional admission under the allotted category. Those who fail to complete the required payment and reporting formalities will be disqualified from the admission process.
Candidates who cannot produce valid documents supporting their claimed category will lose the provisional allotment under that category. They may be considered as General category candidates in a subsequent round, subject to vacancy availability and the applicable rules. Such candidates must submit fresh choices in the second round.
Candidates who wish to withdraw from the counselling process or resign from an allotted seat can do so within the withdrawal period specified in the counselling schedule.
If vacancies remain after candidates report to their allotted colleges, OJEE will conduct spot counselling for the stray vacancy round. The detailed procedure and schedule will be announced separately.
