Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot, has issued a public notice dated November 6, 2026, regarding the fifth round of online counselling for admission to BDS courses under NEET UG 2026.
According to the notice, the last date for submitting online choices and preferences for the fifth round of BDS counselling is November 9, 2026. Eligible candidates are advised to submit their preferences within the revised schedule.
BFUHS has also informed candidates about one vacant BDS seat at National Dental College, Dera Bassi. The college filed CWP No. 37155 of 2026, titled National Dental College and Hospital Vs. State of Punjab and Others, before the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, seeking permission to fill the vacant seat.
The High Court, through an interim order dated November 6, 2026, directed the university to fill the seat. Accordingly, eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates can submit their online choices for this vacancy according to their eligibility and applicable counselling rules.
