The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Chennai, has released the Postgraduate Medical Degree and Diploma fee structure for the 2026–27 academic session. The details were issued through Notification No. 1152/SCSII(1)/2026 dated 30 October 2026.

The notification provides the fee details for Clinical and Non-Clinical PG Medical Degree courses and PG Diploma courses under Government, Management and NRI quotas.

The notification also specifies the annual fees for PG Medical Degree and Diploma courses under the Government Quota in Government Medical Colleges.

The annual fee of INR 50,000 for PG MD/MS/Degree courses has been fixed as per G.O.(D) No. 630, Health and Family Welfare (MCA-1) Department, dated 12 June 2023.

Tuition Fee Exemption for Differently Abled Candidates

The Selection Committee has clarified that eligible differently abled candidates will receive an exemption from paying the tuition fee and special fee during the NEET PG counselling and admission process in Government Medical Institutions.

Candidates seeking this exemption should ensure that they meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
