According to the notice dated 3 November 2026, candidates who received seat allotments in these rounds and completed admission to their allotted MBBS or BDS seats can submit their resignation if they wish to leave the admitted seat.

The facility applies to candidates admitted to government, autonomous and private medical or dental colleges, institutions and medical universities in Uttar Pradesh.

Last Date and Process for Seat Resignation

Candidates who want to resign from their admitted seats must follow the prescribed process and deadline.

Candidates must personally visit the nodal centre related to their admitted seat and submit their resignation before the deadline. The notice does not specify an online resignation facility.

Which Candidates Can Resign?

The resignation facility is available to candidates who meet the following conditions:

• They received an allotment through the first, second or third round of UP NEET UG 2026 online counselling.

• They completed admission to the allotted MBBS or BDS seat.

• They now wish to resign from the admitted seat.

Candidates must complete the process by 5 November 2026 at 5:00 PM. They should follow the applicable provisions of the UP NEET UG 2026 government order and counselling brochure.
