Atal Medical and Research University (AMRUHP), Himachal Pradesh, has announced a reduction in the minimum qualifying percentile for admission to the B.Sc Nursing course for the 2026 academic session. As per the university notice, the Indian Nursing Council (INC) has reduced the qualifying percentile to zero.

The decision follows INC Letter No. F. No. 1-6/LT/2026-INC dated October 28, 2026. In view of this change, eligible candidates can now submit their preferences for the Mop-Up Round of B.Sc Nursing counselling.

Who Can Participate in the Mop-Up Round?

Candidates who appeared in the B.Sc Nursing Entrance Test conducted on August 2, 2026, and whose names are included in the Final B.Sc Nursing Merit List dated September 18, 2026, are eligible to submit their preferences for the Mop-Up Round.

The revised qualifying percentile is zero. However, seat allocation will be carried out according to the provisions of the B.Sc Nursing Prospectus and applicable counselling rules.

AMRUHP has reiterated that nursing colleges are not permitted to admit students without prior seat allocation by the Counselling Committee.

Therefore, candidates should participate in the official counselling process and wait for seat allocation. Admission must follow the B.Sc Nursing Prospectus and applicable counselling rules.
