The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) have announced the schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS seats and the 5th and 6th rounds of counselling for BDS and BSc Nursing seats for NEET UG 2026 According to the schedule dated 30 October 2026, the Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS and the 5th round for BDS and BSc Nursing will begin with registration on 2 November 2026. The 6th round for BDS and BSc Nursing will start on 17 November 2026.
The schedule covers registration, payment, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment processing, result publication and reporting to the allotted colleges.
The registration and payment facility for the Special Stray Vacancy Round of MBBS and the 5th round of BDS/BSc Nursing counselling will be available from 2 November to 4 November 2026.
Candidates must complete registration by 3:00 PM on 4 November. The payment facility will remain available until 6:00 PM on the same day.
