Atal Medical and Research University (AMRUHP), Himachal Pradesh, has released the merit list for the Second Stray Round of MBBS and BDS Counselling 2026. The university issued the notice on 6 November 2026.

According to the notification, the merit list has been generated through the counselling system using the data available in the system. Candidates are advised to check their merit status and ensure that all details and supporting documents required for admission are in order.

Reserved Category and Quota Document Verification

Candidates claiming benefits under any reserved category or quota must ensure that their certificates and supporting documents are valid, updated and prepared in the prescribed format mentioned in the counselling prospectus.

Candidates should update or obtain the required certificates before the admission process begins. If a certificate is invalid, outdated, missing or not in the prescribed format, the candidate may not receive the benefit of the claimed category or quota.

The university has also clarified that provisional seat allotment does not guarantee admission. Final eligibility and category claims will remain subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute.

Important Instructions for Candidates

AMRUHP has advised candidates not to approach their allotted colleges or institutes immediately after the merit list publication. They should visit the allotted institute only after the declaration of the Final Seat Allotment.

Candidates must also download their Provisional Allotment Letter through the candidate login before reporting to the institute.

The university has clearly stated that admission will not be considered without seat allocation issued through AMRUHP. Therefore, inclusion in the merit list alone does not confirm admission.

What Should Candidates Do Next?

Candidates should follow these steps:

1. Check the Second Stray Round MBBS/BDS merit list through the official counselling portal.

2. Verify the validity and format of all category and quota certificates, wherever applicable.

3. Wait for the Final Seat Allotment result.

4. Download the Provisional Allotment Letter from the candidate login.

5. Approach the allotted college only after the final seat allotment is declared.
