The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), functioning under the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Puducherry, has published the revised eligible candidates list for the Stray Vacancy Round of UG NEET courses for the 2026–27 academic year.

According to the notice dated October 23, 2026, the revised list was published after disposing of objections received against the eligible candidates list released on October 22, 2026. The list covers candidates participating in Government Quota and Management Quota counselling.

Both the existing candidates list and the fresh candidates list have been published on the official CENTAC website.

Existing and Fresh Candidates Lists

CENTAC has clarified that seat allotment will first be considered from the existing candidates list. Fresh candidates will be considered only after the existing list has been exhausted.

The revised eligible list includes candidates who submitted their willingness to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round and paid the required registration fee.

Candidates should check the published list and their dashboard details to confirm their eligibility for the next stage of counselling.

Candidates Removed from the Stray Round Eligible List

As per the directions of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the following candidates have been removed from the CENTAC Stray Vacancy Round eligible list:

• Candidates included in the CENTAC Round 3 allotment list, whether they joined or did not join the allotted seat.

• Candidates included in the MCC Round 3 admitted list.

• Candidates included in the MCC Stray Round allotment list.

Candidates covered by these categories should refer to the revised list and their counselling dashboard for their current status.

Important Eligibility Conditions for Seat Allotment

CENTAC has specified two important conditions for candidates seeking allotment through the Stray Vacancy Round:

• Willingness and tuition fee: Only candidates who submitted their willingness and paid the tuition fee for the respective course will be considered for allotment.

• Course preferences: Candidates with empty course preferences will not be considered for seat allotment.

Therefore, candidates should verify their willingness status, fee payment and course preferences before the allotment process. Merely appearing on an eligible list does not guarantee a seat.

Objection Submission and Deadline

Candidates who identify discrepancies in the revised eligible list may submit objections through the Grievances option in their CENTAC login dashboard.

The notice specifies the objection deadline as October 23, 2026, at 9:00 PM. As this deadline has passed, candidates should check the official portal for any subsequent instructions or updates.

CENTAC has also informed candidates through SMS regarding the publication of the revised list.

2. Open the UG NEET 2026 counselling section.
