The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results/NTA Scores of the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026.

According to the press release dated September 18, 2026, NTA conducted AIAPGET 2026 on behalf of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), in consultation with the Ministry of Ayush.

The examination was conducted for admission to postgraduate programmes in Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha and Unani.

AIAPGET 2026 Result Declared

AIAPGET 2026 was conducted on August 22, 2026 for the majority of candidates. A separate examination was conducted on September 1, 2026 for 49 candidates who were scheduled to appear at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur.

The examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

A total of 51,482 candidates registered for AIAPGET 2026, while 49,864 candidates appeared for the examination.

AIAPGET 2026 Subject-Wise Candidate Statistics

Ayurveda recorded the highest number of registered and appeared candidates among the four AIAPGET disciplines.

AIAPGET 2026 Examination Centres

The AIAPGET 2026 examination was conducted at:

• 205 examination centres
• 104 cities
• Across the country

The examination was conducted on August 22, 2026, with the additional examination for 49 candidates held on September 1, 2026 at the specified centre in Jaipur.

AIAPGET 2026 Counselling: Who Will Conduct It?

NTA has clarified that it has no role in the counselling process after declaration of the AIAPGET result.

For admission to All India Quota seats, counselling will be conducted by the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC).

AACCC will conduct counselling for applicable All India quota seats in:

• Government institutions
• Government-aided institutions
• National institutions
• Central universities
• Deemed-to-be universities established under a Central Act

For State/UT quota seats, counselling will be conducted by the respective designated State/Union Territory counselling authorities.

Admission Will Be Based on AIAPGET Merit and Eligibility

The concerned counselling authorities will consider the candidate's AIAPGET 2026 merit, choice of subject and fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility requirements.

Candidates will also have to satisfy applicable:

• Eligibility criteria
• Domicile requirements
• Reservation policies
• Counselling guidelines
• Other admission requirements prescribed by the concerned authority

Therefore, qualifying or obtaining an AIAPGET score does not by itself complete the admission process. Candidates must participate in the appropriate counselling process and satisfy the applicable admission requirements.

What Candidates Should Do After AIAPGET Result

Candidates who appeared for AIAPGET 2026 should:

1. Check their AIAPGET 2026 result/NTA score.
2. Download and preserve their scorecard.
3. Check the counselling instructions issued by AACCC for All India Quota seats.
4. State/UT candidates should follow the counselling notifications issued by their respective authorities.
5. Keep their academic, category, domicile and other required documents ready.
6. Carefully check eligibility and reservation requirements before participating in counselling.
