The Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has extended the last date for admission under the first round of counselling for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (P.B. B.Sc. Nursing) and M.Sc Nursing courses for the academic year 2026-27. As per the latest notice issued by the university, candidates can now complete their admission process up to October 9, 2026.

The extension has been announced after the university received representations from in-service candidates who reported difficulties in obtaining the required No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Government within the short admission period provided earlier.

In view of these representations, AMRU HP has decided to extend the last date for admission under the first round of counselling to October 9, 2026. The university has clearly stated that no further request for extension of the admission date will be entertained after this deadline.

AMRU HP Nursing Admission 2026: Key Details

The university has advised eligible candidates to complete the admission formalities within the revised deadline. Candidates who are required to submit a Government NOC should ensure that the necessary documentation is completed before October 9, 2026.

The notice has also been forwarded to the Director of Medical Education & Research, Himachal Pradesh, Registrar of AMRU, and principals of government and private nursing colleges in Himachal Pradesh where Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing courses are offered.
