The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has officially announced an extension of the cut-off date for admission into Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses of Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani (ASU) for the academic session 2025–26.

The decision has been approved by the Competent Authority and communicated to all States, Union Territories, universities, AYUSH institutions, and counselling authorities.

Key Highlights of the Notice

• The last date for admission to ASU UG & PG courses has been extended.

• Earlier cut-off dates:

  • UG Courses: 20 December 2025

  • PG Courses: 22 December 2025

• New extended cut-off date for both UG & PG courses:

  • 23 January 2026

• Authorities have been directed to conduct an additional round of counselling.

• The additional counselling round will be held between:

  • 14 January 2026 to 23 January 2026
