According to the official notice dated August 20, 2026, the Round 1 allotment list for Chhattisgarh state counselling was earlier scheduled to be released on August 20, 2026. However, following the revised NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on August 19, 2026, the state authority has postponed the allotment result.

The revised schedule affects the timelines of both All India Quota (AIQ) and state counselling. The Chhattisgarh authority has clarified that the Round 1 state counselling allotment list will be released only after the Round 1 All India Quota counselling allotment list is issued.

Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Allotment Postponed

Candidates participating in the Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 state counselling should note that there will be no Round 1 seat allotment result on August 20, 2026, as originally scheduled.

The state authority will issue a separate notice containing the upcoming information and revised schedule.

Why Has Chhattisgarh NEET UG Round 1 Allotment Been Postponed?

The postponement has been made in view of the revised counselling schedule released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on August 19, 2026.

As per the Chhattisgarh notice, the state Round 1 allotment result will be declared after the Round 1 All India Quota allotment list is released.

Therefore, candidates should not consider the earlier August 20 allotment date as applicable.
