The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has issued an important notification revising the schedule for the submission of online applications for preparation of the Jharkhand State Merit List based on NEET UG 2026 results and the 1st Round of online counselling for admission to MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses under State Quota seats.
The revised schedule was notified by JCECEB on August 11, 2026. Candidates who are eligible for Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 counselling should take note of the revised dates and complete the required activities within the specified deadlines.
JCECEB has extended the deadline for submission of the online application form for preparation of the State Merit List. Candidates can now submit their online application until August 13, 2026.

According to the notification, online application submission and editing will continue simultaneously on August 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM to midnight.
The Board has also revised the starting date for Round 1 online counselling registration and choice filling.

The last date for online registration and choice filling remains August 19, 2026, while candidates will be allowed to edit their filled choices on August 20, 2026.

Candidates will participate in the counselling process on the basis of their NEET UG 2026 result and Jharkhand State Merit List.
Candidates are advised to carefully follow the revised schedule issued by JCECEB. The Board has stated that the earlier advertisement No. JCECEB/46/26-47 dated August 6, 2026 should be considered modified to the extent mentioned in the latest notification. All other terms and conditions will remain unchanged.
