The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has invited online options for the first phase of centralized allotment to Post Graduate Dental (MDS) Courses 2026. According to the notification dated August 21, 2026, the first phase of the allotment process will commence on August 22, 2026.
Candidates who are eligible for Kerala PG Dental (MDS) counselling must complete the online option registration by August 30, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. To participate, candidates need to visit the official CEE Kerala website and access the “PG Dental 2026-Candidate Portal” using their Application Number and Password. Candidates can then select the “Option Registration” menu available on their candidate home page.
A security deposit/option registration fee of Rs. 10,000 is applicable for candidates, while SC/ST/OEC and other candidates eligible for fee concession are required to pay Rs. 5,000. The registration fee will be adjusted against the course fee if a candidate is allotted a seat. Candidates who do not receive an allotment will have their registration fee refunded after completion of the counselling process, subject to the conditions mentioned in the notification.
Candidates should carefully select their course, college and quota combinations according to their preference. Only options registered online through the official portal will be considered for allotment. Options sent through post, fax or email will not be processed.
Candidates seeking admission under Minority/NRI quota in self-financing dental colleges must register their desired quota options during the first phase itself. Candidates who fail to register Minority/NRI quota options in this phase will not be considered for allotment under these quotas, even if they are included in the relevant category lists.
The notification further states that candidates allotted a seat in the first round and joining the allotted seat will retain their higher options, while options listed below the allotted option will be automatically deleted. This will allow candidates to participate only for upgradation or retention of the allotted seat in subsequent phases.
The second phase will not provide fresh option registration for existing candidates. Candidates will be allowed to confirm, delete or rearrange existing options, and option confirmation will be compulsory for participation in the second phase. Fresh option registration will be available only for any new course or college added to the allotment process at that stage.
The third/final phase will again provide fresh option registration. Any seat conversion, if applicable, will be carried out during the final round. If vacancies remain after the final phase, such seats may be filled through stray vacancy allotment.
