The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Manipur has announced the schedule for Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026-27 for candidates who have qualified in NEET UG 2026. The counselling will be conducted entirely in online mode through the dedicated counselling portal.
Eligible candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS and BASLP courses under different seat categories will have to register online and submit their choices within the prescribed schedule.

Candidates are required to complete registration and choice filling through the official Manipur Medical e-Counselling portal within the specified dates.
The counselling will cover the following categories of seats:

Candidates can also participate for MBBS Management Quota seats at Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol.
The counselling also covers MBBS NRI Quota seats at Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol.
Registration will be considered complete only after payment of the applicable non-refundable application fee and refundable security fee.

The ?15,000 security fee is refundable after completion of all counselling rounds, subject to the applicable conditions. The notification also states that the security fee may be forfeited in specified circumstances, including failure to join an allotted institute in the prescribed manner during subsequent rounds or cancellation of admission due to certain reasons.
During registration, candidates can choose from three seat types:
Multiple seat types can be selected subject to payment of the applicable fees. Once the final submission is completed, the selected seat types will be permanently locked, and requests for re-categorisation or modification will not be permitted.
Candidates should note that choice filling will be mandatory for every counselling round. Choices submitted in one round will not remain valid for subsequent rounds.
Candidates can lock their choices within the prescribed timeline. If the choices are not manually locked, they will be automatically locked at the end of the stipulated choice-filling period.
For the first round, candidates will have to complete the main counselling registration, pay the applicable registration and security fees, and exercise and lock their seat choices.
Seat allotment will be conducted according to the Manipur Medical MBBS/BDS/BASLP (Selection of Candidates for Nomination) Rules, 2021 and Amendment Rules, 2025.
The Round 1 result will be published through the official counselling channels, and allotted candidates will be able to download their allotment letter from the online counselling portal.
After Round 1 seat allotment, candidates will have to choose between FREEZE and FLOAT.
FREEZE: Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat and do not want upgradation will have to physically report to the allotted institute with their original documents.
FLOAT: Candidates who want to participate in subsequent rounds for possible seat upgradation can opt for the Float option online. Such candidates generally do not need to physically report to the allotted college at that stage and can download the provisional admission letter after the required verification.
However, candidates allotted seats at Regional Dental College (RDC), Guwahati must physically report to the institute for verification of original documents and completion of admission formalities.
