The Directorate of Medical Education, Manipur has revised the schedule for Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026-27 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the State Government Quota. The revised schedule also applies to MBBS admissions under the Management and NRI Quota at Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol.
The revised schedule has been issued in pursuance of the updated NEET UG 2026 counselling schedule released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, on August 19, 2026.
According to the notification issued by the Directorate of Medical Education, Manipur on August 21, 2026, the merit list of candidates who have applied for counselling will be published on August 24, 2026. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be published on August 28, 2026.
Candidates who are allotted seats in the first round will have to complete reporting and joining at their allotted institute between August 28 and September 5, 2026. Candidates and participating institutions have been advised to follow the revised schedule carefully.
The Directorate has clarified that all other terms and conditions, instructions, guidelines and provisions mentioned in its earlier notification dated August 10, 2026, including the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for registration and Round 1 counselling, will remain unchanged.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official Manipur Medical e-Counselling portal and the Directorate of Health Services, Manipur website for further updates or changes related to the counselling process.
