The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the schedule for Round 1 of NEET UG Counselling 2026. According to MCC Notice No. 08 dated August 13, 2026, candidates participating in the counselling process are advised to follow the revised dates for registration, payment, choice filling and choice locking.
The revised schedule applies to NEET UG 2026 counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats as well as 100% seats of Deemed Universities, Central Universities, AFMC, AIIMS institutions and JIPMER (Puducherry & Karaikal) for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing courses.

All timings mentioned by MCC are according to server time.
Candidates who wish to participate in MCC NEET UG Round 1 Counselling 2026 must complete their registration by 2:00 PM on August 15, 2026. The payment facility will remain available until 5:00 PM on August 15.
Candidates must also complete choice filling by 6:00 PM on August 17. Choice locking will be available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on August 17.
Following the completion of registration and choice filling, MCC will process the Round 1 seat allotment on August 18. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be released on August 19, 2026.
Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 will have to complete reporting and joining from August 20 to August 25, 2026. Participating institutes will subsequently verify the data of joined candidates on August 26, 2026.
Candidates are advised to carefully check their allotted college, course and admission requirements and complete the joining formalities within the prescribed deadline.
Candidates should note that registration/payment and choice filling have separate deadlines. Candidates should not wait until the last day to complete the process to avoid technical or payment-related issues.
