The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, has released the Provisional Result for UG 2026 Counselling Round 1. The notice was issued on August 20, 2026, under Reference No. U-11011/07/2026-MEC.

Candidates who have checked their Round 1 provisional allotment result and find any discrepancy have been advised to immediately report the issue to MCC through the Candidates Grievances and Query Redressal System available on the candidate login portal.

Deadline to Report Discrepancies

According to the MCC notice, candidates can raise discrepancies in the provisional result up to 3:59 PM on August 21, 2026.

Candidates should carefully check their provisional result and submit any grievance within the prescribed deadline. MCC has advised candidates to use the grievance and query redressal facility available through their candidate login.

Provisional Result Is Indicative

MCC has clarified that the Round 1 provisional result is only indicative in nature and is subject to change.

Candidates cannot claim any right over a seat allotted in the provisional result. The provisional result also cannot be challenged before a court of law.

Therefore, candidates are advised to wait for the Final Result of NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 before taking further admission-related action.

Candidates Advised Not to Approach Colleges Yet

The MCC has specifically advised candidates to approach the allotted college or institute only after the declaration of the Final Result.

Candidates should therefore not report to the allotted institution solely on the basis of the provisional result. They should wait for MCC to publish the final Round 1 result and follow the admission instructions issued thereafter.
