The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India has issued Notice-1 dated August 13, 2026, regarding the Final Seat Matrix Freeze for PG MDS Counselling 2026.
The notice is addressed to all participating institutes and colleges taking part in the PG MDS Counselling 2026. Institutes have been instructed to complete the final verification and freezing of their seat matrix through the designated portal.
According to MCC, participating institutes must log in to the designated portal using their PIADMIN User ID and Password. After logging in, institutes need to navigate to the Seat Matrix section and select “Verification of Commission, Institute Seat Intake with Discrepancy and Freeze.”
Institutes must carefully verify their institute seat intake, course-wise seat details, category-wise distribution and other relevant information displayed on the portal.
If any discrepancy is found, the concerned institute must verify the details and take the necessary corrective action according to the instructions available on the portal.
After confirming that all seat-related information is correct and complete, institutes must proceed with the Final Seat Matrix Freeze.
MCC has specifically advised institutes to carefully check all information before freezing the seat matrix because, once finally frozen, the submitted seat matrix will be considered for processing of PG MDS Counselling 2026.
The notice also states that institutes should not wait until the last date to complete the verification and freezing process.
