The Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh has issued an important notice regarding the bond affidavit required at the time of admission under the MP State Combined NEET UG Counselling NEET UG 2026.
According to the notice dated August 19, 2026, candidates who are admitted through the first counselling round and wish to exercise the upgradation option for the second round will have to submit an affidavit on a Rs. 500 stamp paper.
Similarly, candidates admitted through the first or second counselling round who wish to opt for upgradation in the Mop-Up Round will also be required to execute the prescribed affidavit.
Candidates opting for upgradation must execute an affidavit in favour of the Dean/Principal of the concerned medical or dental college.
The affidavit must state that if the candidate does not receive an upgraded seat, they will execute the required Rural Service Bond and Seat Leaving Bond at the college where they are currently admitted.
As specified in the notice, the bonds are to be properly executed on a notarized affidavit, with the applicable bond amount being 0.5% of the bond amount as stamp duty.

Candidates should complete the required formalities with the concerned college while exercising their upgradation option.
